2014
Traces of the Moment
2014 does not mark a new beginning, but an opening. The works of this year follow no fixed concept. They emerge from the dialogue between color, gesture, and intuition—as traces of a moment that resist any final explanation.
In 2014, the studio became a place of experimentation. Large canvases stand alongside small works on paper, finished paintings next to fragments. Many works were created in immediate succession—as if they were speaking to each other, contradicting one another, or continuing each other’s thoughts.
The focus is not on the finished image, but on the process. Lines appear, disappear again beneath new layers of color, figures dissolve and resurface elsewhere. Each painting preserves the moment of its creation while remaining open to new interpretations.
The works of this year tell no stories. They invite you to follow traces—the visible as well as the hidden.
